This drink is a mild variation of the classic virgin mojito and is easy to make in a jiff. The vibrant color of the strawberry in this drink is an absolute treat for the eye and is a must to beat the heat this summer. Be it any occasion, you have to make this to impress your guest.
You do not need any special utensils or kitchen gadgets to make this drink. If you got a muddler, well and good. If not, I used the back of a wooden spoon or ladle which has a flat surface. It pretty much does the job. So relax and enjoy your strawberry mojito on a hot summer day!
Things to note for a perfect strawberry mojito:
Strawberries: The star of this drink has to be ripe. Ripe ones have more color, and flavor and are sweet. They also have soft flesh which makes them easy to muddle.
Muddler: Muddlers are essential tools to make delicious cocktails or mocktails. They are used to mash up ingredients like limes, oranges, mint leaves, and more to create flavorful cocktails that will tantalize your taste buds. But what if you don't have a muddler? The answer is simple. Use the back of a wooden spoon or a ladle that has a flat bottom and they do a pretty good job.
Soda: Adding carbonated water to the drink completes the mojito. But you can always replace plain soda with Sprite to elevate your drink. Just skip the sugar if you are using Sprite instead of soda.
